Outside the confines of a wireframe, I try to adhere to Anthony Bourdain’s adage, “Be a traveler, not a tourist.” As avid travelers, my wife and I have visited over a dozen countries and over forty states. When we’re not on the road, you’ll find me roaming around town with my 100 lb doodle, Rizzo, or walking 18 holes of golf.

Career Journey

  • Currently, I'm serving as the Design Director for Kickfin, the #1 Tip Management software in the market. My responsibilities cover the entire product design process from feature conception to launch. As an analytically motivated product designer, I review the performance of the platform for enhancements backed by customer data and feedback.

  • Walk West was my first step into leadership. There, I managed client relationships and directed creative strategy for major projects including Toshiba’s global commerce website and the Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits portfolio redesign that featured notable brands like Josh Cellars, Redemption Whiskey, and The Calling. This role honed my skills in creative direction, high-quality production, and effective strategy implementation.

  • At Genesys, I learned how to work in a global marketing team. I was able to leverage my UX experience to design high-conversion lead-gen pages and marketing campaigns through a diverse range of channels. It was here at Genesys that I first learned how to craft, maintain, and implement brand standards for a multi-billion dollar global corporation.

  • My career began at Stanley Gibbons Ltd., where I led UX efforts on a cross-functional product development team. This is where I cut my teeth, growing from graphic designer to Senior UX Designer. Implementing a full UX redesign for e-commerce sites and improving conversion rates by 40% was an educational start to my career.
